I have 2 motoros around 2 years of age. They are both healthy and well fed with nice fat tails for the people who have seen my pictures my male has nice curled claspers and I was told he is ready to be a daddy  The male has a disc size of around 12'' and the female is around 11''. They have been together since they were pups. They are always on top of each other and always together. If one ray swims to the other side of the tank the other one is right behind. If I keep up the good feeding and have them in this 425 gallon, do you think they might breed?

most likly.....  i bet the female will need a little more time to mature a little more... right around 12-13"

they are pretty close to breeding size!!! my male was mature at about 10" and my female at about 11-12"

well I got rid of my domestic oscars and just have two passive wild oscars left. The wilds are passive and keep to them selfs.

I got my oscar when he was little and ray was about 5" They do fine together, the only hard part is getting the food down to ray so i hold on to the one the oscar grabs, well my ray eats
