Regenerative Capabiliies Of Potamotrygon
« on: April 18, 2009, 07:52:10 PM »
One thing I have noticed is that rays have an amazing ability to heal any injuries to their disc in an amazingly short amount of time given that they are being fed good foods and have clean water.

My one male was victim of the bacteria/fungus that was plaguing a few people's rays a while back and has made a full recovery. His disc was badly scarred but improves daily.

Another thing I have noticed is when they tend to bite at each other on occasion and leave marks the marks are gone in 3 days flat.

They amaze me. Perhaps scientists can learn a way to regenerate humans as well as rays do themselves.

I need to get Matt and Ashley on here so they can post up the amazing recovery of those damaged motoros!!

A mantilla/motoro hybrid I had kept for a while had a slightly nipped disc towards the back.. within a week of isolation, it was all healed!
